Green Surveillance – Israeli Defense Force (IDF) selects WipAir technology

Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has selected WipAir wireless technology for its solar powered surveillance stations.

The new surveillance system presents multiple advantages, including:

• Operational advantage – 24/7 connectivity, independent power source.
• Rapid deployment – the station can be relocated and deployed rapidly according to operational needs, since external power source is not required.
• Environmental advantage – the station consumes low power allowing use of solar panels.
